Overview
Saved Replies for AI Chats (“the extension”) is designed with privacy as a core principle. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not collect, transmit, store remotely, or share any personal data.
Data Collection
The extension collects no data whatsoever. No personal information, no usage statistics, no analytics, no crash reports, no identifiers.
Data Storage
When you save an AI response, the text of that response and the URL of the page are stored exclusively in your browser’s local IndexedDB database on your own device. This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to any cloud service, not accessible to the developer, and not shared with any third party.
Permissions
The extension requests the following browser permissions:
activeTab — used only to check whether the current tab is a supported AI
platform so the popup can display the correct status.
tabs — used only to send messages between the extension popup and the content script running in the active tab.
Host permissions — the extension injects a content script into supported AI
platforms solely to add bookmark buttons to AI responses. The script reads
response text only to save it locally to your device when you explicitly click
the bookmark button.
Third Parties
The extension does not integrate with any third-party service, analytics platform, advertising network, or API. No data is ever sent outside your browser.
Children’s Privacy
The extension does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Changes to This Policy
If the extension is ever updated in a way that changes how data is handled, this privacy policy will be updated before that version is published.
